LAHORE – The education department has announced summer timings for schools in Punjab capital city of Lahore with effect from April 15 (Monday).
All educational institutions are set to reopen on April 15 following the end of the Eidul Fitr holidays, which are being observed from April 10 to 14.
The schools will observe revised timings in Lahore when they open next week as temperatures have started rising in plain areas of the province.
According to the department, the schools will open at 7:30 am and close at 1:30 pm from Monday to Thursday while the closing timing will be 12 on Fridays.
The private schools have also issued summer timings for play group to class 10. The schools will open at 7:30 am while closing timings are different for the classes.
The play group classes will end at 11: 30 am while Nursery and Prep will close at 12:30 pm.
