WAZIRABAD – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Bilal Farooq Tarar, the brother of Federal Minister Atta Ullah Tarar, has been elected unopposed from National Assembly constituency NA-66 (Wazirabad) after all other contenders withdrew their nomination papers.

According to the Returning Officer Shabbir Hussain Butt, Form-34 has been officially issued declaring Bilal Farooq Tarar’s unopposed victory.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Muhammad Ahmed Chattha had earlier announced a boycott of the election process following a political rally, in accordance with the party’s policy.

Subsequently, members of the Chattha family also withdrew their nomination papers.

During the campaign period, Bilal Farooq Tarar held meetings with local elders, community leaders, and influential personalities of the constituency, who praised his social and political services and expressed their full support.
