Pakistan’s largest volunteer network, ‘MilKar’, has won the Youth Excellence Award at the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance (CAYA) Summit 2025 in Islamabad.

This is yet another achievement for MilKar, a public welfare organization recognized for its efforts in connecting volunteers and organizations to create a better society.

Previously, MilKar has received prestigious national and global awards, including the Commonwealth Innovation Award and P@SHA’s “Best Community Service” Gold Award.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presented the award to Ali Saif, the youngest member of the National Youth Council (NYC) and MilKar Impact Head & Founder of Climate Dost.

Ali Saif emphasized that youth play a crucial role in combating climate change. He pointed out that 70% of Pakistan’s population consists of young people, who have already planted over 100,000 trees and distributed 100,000 masks during the smog crisis.

As an eco-friendly youth activist, Saif shared that MilKar has recently installed numerous bird feeders and plans to expand this initiative nationwide by 2030. He urged people to adopt eco-friendly habits for a better future.
