Mahira Khan reveals her feelings while expecting her second baby at a conference held in Toronto, Canada.
In a recent conversation, she opened up about the pregnancy journey and emotions of becoming a mother at 41. Speaking about this new chapter in her life, Mahira shared that it feels like a blessing sent by Allah and part of His plan. She expressed gratitude for how merciful and kind Allah has been, embracing the journey with faith and trust.
Currently in Toronto, Canada, for the Toronto International Film Festival, Mahira recently made her baby bump debut and has been candid about her pregnancy experience during media interactions. “It feels like this was sent by God. InshaAllah, I’m becoming a mother.”
Earlier, Mahira Khan announced her second pregnancy with an emotional message on her Instagram handle. The actress initially revealed her pregnancy during her appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). She shared a picture highlighting her baby bump and wrote, “We make plans, and then there is ALLAH’S plan.”
This will be Mahira Khan’s second child and her first with Salim Karim, whom she married in October 2023. The actor is already a mother to her teenage son, Azlan, from her previous marriage.

She was first married to Pakistani director and producer Ali Askari in 2007, and the couple divorced in 2015.
