LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday rejected a petition seeking removal of the names of Farah Shehzadi’s children from exit control list, ARY News reported.
A single bench of the high court comprised on Justice Rassal Hassan Syed turned down the petition while announcing the reserved verdict.
The court had earlier reserved decision after hearing arguments of lawyers.
State counsel in his arguments said that Farah Shehzadi has been proclaimed offender and she wants to bring her children to abroad.
“All proceedings against Farah Shehzadi being conducted within legal mandate,” the counsel added.
A petition was filed in the LHC against not removing names of Farah Shehzadi’s children from the no-fly list.
The Interior Ministry was made a party in the plea saying that the ministry had added names of children of the complainant in the Exit Control List (ECL).
