LDA completes restoration of Lytton Road Park – Pakistan Observer

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has completed the rehabilitation/renovation of Lytton Road Park.

The LDA has completed the development work in two months after removing encroachments and heaps of garbage from 1.78 kanal land originally allocated for a public park in the congested city locality.

A badminton court and a jogging track have been established to promote healthy activities. Besides that, swings and other playing facilities have been provided for children in addition to proper sitting areas for the general public. LDA has also established a garden and installed lights to improve the look of Lytton Road Park.

LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has stated that the initiative has been carried out as per the plan of beautification of Lahore, on the directions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He stated that the LDA was carrying out multiple projects to facilitate citizens and improve the appearance of Lahore.
