LAHORE – Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Friday removed permanent and temporary encroachments from designated parking spaces in commercial areas of Lahore.
Joint teams of LDA and Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) cleared parking spaces outside several plazas on Jail Road.

Teams demolished gate and illegal partitions at Landmark Plaza, sealed café and office in the basement of a private laboratory, removed canopy at Gulberg Galleria and sealed management office of high Cue Tower for violation of parking bylaws.
As per the officials, several notices were served to owners of these buildings before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa has directed continuing indiscriminate operation against encroachments and violation of bylaws.
