Kashmiris don’t expect justice from Indian judiciary: Behl – Pakistan Observer

All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader, Devender Singh Behl, has said that the Indian Supreme Court had hanged Kashmiri leaders Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru at the behest of the Indian government, therefore, Kashmiris do not expect that it will take a fair decision on the petitions filed against the repeal of special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Devender Singh Behl in a statement in Jammu said the Indian Supreme Court has not given any decision in favour of Kashmiris till date and has pronounced its verdicts on the directions of the Indian governments.

He said the Indian Supreme Court will deliver its decision on Monday on the petitions filed against the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, but Kashmiris do not expect that it will issue a decision in favour of the Kashmiri people. Devender Singh Behl said irrespective of the Indian apex court’s verdict, Kashmiris will continue their struggle for right to self-determination till it reaches its logical conclusion.—KMS
