Karachi, Hyderabad, Sindh weather update; heatwave to persist – Pakistan Observer

KARACHI – Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh on Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday. Heatwave will likely persist during this week.

As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

Under the influence of these conditions, hot and dry weather is expected in the port city, Hyderabad and the most districts of the province on Tuesday night and the following two days. Due to the persistent dry weather, heatwave will likely persist during this week.

In Karachi, the maximum temperatures will likely remain between 36-38 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 37-39°C on Thursday.

In Hyderabad, the maximum temperatures will likely remain between 42-44°C on Wednesday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed in Karachi, Hyderabad and most districts of the province during the last 24 hours.

Dadu remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 47°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 19 per cent.

In Karachi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 39°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 36 per cent.

In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 42°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 36 per cent.
