Karachi: The Meteorological Department has forecast the arrival of a fresh westerly wave across Pakistan from this evening, bringing a spell of unstable weather to several regions, including Sindh.
Under the influence of this system, thunderstorms accompanied by rain and possible hailstorms are expected between March 25 and 29 in upper parts of the country. Officials warn that the weather system may bring strong wind gusts, intense thunder, and frequent lightning.
Heavy rainfall is expected from March 25 to March 29 in Thatta, Badin, Hyderabad and Karachi. Residents in low-lying areas are advised to remain cautious, as the rain may lead to urban flooding.
