Kanye sued by former employee over sexual harassment | The Express Tribune

Kanye West, the controversial rapper and fashion mogul, is facing a new lawsuit from a former employee who alleges sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination. Lauren Pisciotta, who worked as West’s assistant for two years, filed the lawsuit on Monday, according to Rolling Stone.

In the lawsuit, Pisciotta claims that West sent her lewd text messages, including pornographic videos, and performed sex acts while on the phone with her. She alleges that on one occasion, West “trapped” her in a private room on his plane and masturbated in front of her.

Pisciotta alleges that she was initially hired by West in 2021 to work on the first season of his Yeezy women’s fashion line, with an annual salary of $1 million. According to the lawsuit, West initially allowed Pisciotta to continue her OnlyFans business, but in 2022, he allegedly asked her to delete her account in exchange for an additional $1 million.

After Pisciotta closed her OnlyFans account, she claims that West bombarded her with explicit text messages and videos. The lawsuit further alleges that around September 2022, Pisciotta was promoted to Chief of Staff for West’s various companies but was abruptly fired soon afterward, with her $3 million severance package never being paid.

In addition to sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination, Pisciotta is also suing West and his Yeezy businesses for fraud, unpaid wages, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

This is not the first time West has faced accusations of lewd behavior. Last November, multiple employees of his Yeezy fashion line told Rolling Stone that he had played pornographic films during staff meetings and shown an intimate photograph of his then-wife Kim Kardashian in job interviews.

West has not responded to the latest allegations, and his lawyer has not yet provided a comment to the BBC, which has been unable to independently verify the filing of the lawsuit. The rapper, who has faced numerous controversies in recent years, including the termination of his lucrative contract with Adidas over antisemitic comments, has previously acknowledged a “full-on pornography addiction” that he said “destroyed” his family.
