QUETTA: Justice prevailed, finally, the Balochistan government appointed a senior officer as the Director-General Public Relations (DGPR) on Wednesday evening.
Noor Muhammad Khetran, a senior officer has been appointed as the DGPR Balochistan. His predecessor, Kamran Asad, a junior officer has been transferred and posted as director public relations.
The Balochistan government issued a notification in this regard. The appointment of DGPR on the basis of seniority has come after a landmark judgement by the Balochistan Services Tribunal.
The tribunal in its detailed judgment had declared the appointment of Kamran Asad as illegal and against the rules.
