QUETTA: Pakistan Railways has decided to suspend the operation of the Jaffar Express between Quetta and Peshawar for four days, citing security concerns.
According to railway officials, the suspension will remain in effect from November 9 to November 12. The decision was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers and railway staff.
However, officials clarified that the Jaffar Express scheduled for departure on Saturday, November 8, will operate as per its routine schedule from Quetta to Peshawar.
The Jaffar Express is one of Pakistan Railways’ major passenger trains, connecting Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through a long interprovincial route.
