The Pakistani security forces launched series of operations in the Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan district and successfully neutralized eleven terrorists in the region.
It is to be noted that, the operation was conducted upon receiving the intelligence on the reported presence of terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan.
The information about the following has been shared by the military’s media wing (Inter-Services Public Relations) on Monday, adding that, “An intelligence based operation was conducted in Dera Ismail Khan district on the reported presence of terrorists in the region. During operation, after an intense exchange of fire, 10 terrorists were neutralized.”
Details further mentioned about another encounter taken place between the security forces and terrorist in the North Waziristan district. Noting to which the details, added that, “In another intense fire exchange in North Waziristan, one more terrorist have been killed by the security forces.”
Alongside, sharing the information about the encounter, ISPR added that, “The terrorists were actively engaged in the number of terrorist activities in the region. Security forces during the operations have also recovered arms and ammunition from their custody.”
Considering this, locals of the regions have appreciated the efforts of the security forces in reacting to the terror elements in the swift way. They have also lauded the security forces for keeping the agenda of making the state terror-free as their priority.
It is to be hereby added that, the security forces of Pakistan during the last week have killed seven terrorists who were making an attempt to infiltrate the Afghan-Pakistan border in the North Waziristan region. Moreover, at the beginning of this month, two militants were killed by the security forces in the North Waziristan district.
While keeping in mind the growing terrorism, the security forces have made promise to eradicate the roots of militancy in Pakistan and also made commitment to work on reinstating peace and harmony in the region.
