Meanwhile, Naveed Asghar, Humaira Asghar’s brother, has sensationally claimed that his sister was murdered as part of a pre-planned conspiracy.
The mysterious death of the renowned model and actress, whose body was discovered in a Karachi flat nine months after her demise, has sent shockwaves across the country, intensifying public and showbiz demands for justice.
In a recent interview, Naveed Asghar expressed severe doubts about the incident, stating that his sister’s death was not accidental but a deliberately planned act. He further revealed that police officers informed him that when the flat’s main door was broken down, the back door was already open, and the roof window remained continuously open, preventing the spread of odor. “This all seems like a premeditated murder, and we are 90% certain it was a murder,” he asserted.
Naveed Asghar called for a complete and transparent investigation into the incident. He demanded that the landlord’s complete data, including call detail records, be obtained, and it should be ascertained how long he has been residing in Karachi and if he has any connections to Lahore.
The brother also urged a thorough investigation into Humaira’s travel history, emphasizing the need to determine whether she traveled alone or with someone, as this aspect raises several questions.
Naveed Asghar also expressed disappointment that the fellow artists and crew involved in Humaira’s last projects are not fully cooperating. “I don’t understand why her colleagues are not speaking openly? Are they afraid of someone? If they are innocent, they should cooperate so the truth can come out,” he appealed.
