Unidentified robbers shot dead a Hafiz-i-Quran (teacher of a Madrassa) for resisting dacoity in Hanjarwal area of Lahore on Thursday.
Qari Hafiz Nauman was going in a car when the robbers stopped him and opened fire on him.
The police started investigation analyzing various aspects of the murder including resistance on robbery.
The deceased imam was a Qari of the mosque and a Madrassa. The police have taken the body into custody and started the investigation.
