Foundation University Islamabad holds Convocation for MBBS, CPT Graduates – Pakistan Observer

ISLAMABAD – Foundation University Islamabad held its convocation ceremony for MBBS and MS Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy (CPT) graduates on November 4, 2025.

Lieutenant General Anwar Ali Hyder, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) (Retired), Managing Director and CEO of Fauji Foundation, attended as the Chief Guest. He awarded seven Gold, six Silver, thirty-one Distinction, and two Merit Certificates to a total of 155 graduating doctors and healthcare professionals.

Major General Professor Qudrat Ullah Malik, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) (Retired), Director and Principal of Foundation University School of Health Sciences, highlighted the institution’s academic milestones, including global research recognition and recent World Physiotherapy accreditation.

Malik stressed that while technology and AI play a key role in healthcare, true healing comes from empathy.

Chief Guest congratulated the graduates, acknowledging the support of their families and teachers, and urged them to serve humanity with humility and dedication. He also praised Foundation University’s growth as a center of excellence in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences.
