Former Miss Switzerland levels grave accusation on US president Trump

The Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee claimed that former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul has accused US President Trump of raping her in November 1993 at the Plaza Hotel in New York. Trump has not been charged with a crime in relation to the allegation, and the White House has refuted it.

A report Keul allegedly provided to committee workers is detailed in the report, which examines Trump’s purported ties to Jeffrey Epstein. As per document, Keul was hired to compete in a pageant in Atlantic City and New York when she was 24 years and employed as a model and financial services professional.

During a luncheon at the Plaza Hotel, Keul claimed that Trump approached her and offered to assist in getting a visa and being admitted to New York University. The report revealed that Epstein also made similar offers to her.

Keul claims that a representative asked her to meet Trump in a hotel suite later that day. She claimed that Trump had attacked her there and then asked her to keep quiet. The report added that she refused to compete in another Trump-sponsored event after returning to Switzerland following the pageant.

The accusations have not been proven in court. In a response to PEOPLE, the White House denied them, claiming they were false, according to spokeswoman Lauren Bis. Additionally, she upheld the administration’s stance that Trump was exonerated of any misconduct pertaining to Epstein.

The report compares Keul’s story with other accusations pertaining to career and education options. It also makes reference to a 1997 sexual assault complaint that Jill Harth brought against Trump.

The report has surfaced at a time when Trump’s past and his alleged connections to the financier and convicted sex offender Epstein are under increasing scrutiny.

There have been further court cases involving accusations of sexual abuse against Trump. He was found liable by a civil jury back in 2023 for sexually abusing and defaming author E Jean Carroll. However, the jury did not decide that rape had been proven under the applicable legal definition. Regarding Carroll’s accusations, Trump has denied any misconduct.
