CHAGHI: Armed accused opened fire at a vehicle and killed a tribal elder in district Chaghi on Tuesday morning. Levies sources said armed accused opened an indiscriminate firing on the vehicle of Haji Saiful Hassani. The tribal elder was dead on the spot.
The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot. The dead body was shifted to a nearby hospital. A large number of tribesmen reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
Three people were injured in the attack. The injured were rushed to Quetta for medical treatment. Levies personnel reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.
