Election of Prime Minister will be held on Sunday
ISLAMABAD: According to the election schedule issued by the National Assembly secretariat, nomination papers for the office of the Prime Minister can be submitted by tomorrow.
Scrutiny of the nomination papers will be held at three in the afternoon on the same day.
The nomination papers can be obtained from the legislation branch of the National Assembly.
Meanwhile, bye-elections on the six vacant seats of the Senate will be held on 14th of this month.
According to a notification of Election Commission of Pakistan, candidates can file their nomination papers to the Returning Officer till Sunday evening.
These seats were vacated by Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, Molana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, Prince Ahmed Umer Ahmdezai, and Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti.
