Dalton school holds open house – Pakistan Observer

The School of Dalton International (SDI) opened its doors to an enthusiastic gathering of parents, children, educators, and dignitaries at its Open House held at its purpose-built campus in F-11/3.

The open house or the soft launch of the school was attended by esteemed guests including Mr. Syed Nafasat Raza, Member Engineering at the Capital Development Authority (CDA); Mr. Jamshaid Sultan, Producer & Director at PTV and prominent leaders from Islamabad’s education sector.

Founded on the globally acclaimed Dalton Plan, the School of Dalton International is pioneering a new approach to early and primary education in Pakistan. The Dalton model blends structure with independence and encourages responsibility, collaboration, and creativity in children—offering an enriched learning environment rooted in international best practices.

The school’s founder and CEO Mrs. Itrat Rubab Haider who is a seasoned educationist with over 26 years of leadership experience, shared her vision on the occasion, “Every child deserves an education that inspires independent thinking, nurtures curiosity, and empowers them to navigate the world with confidence and compassion.”

The school is up to grade 5 while the counseling is for O & A levels, she said.
