A Showcase of Indonesian Excellence in Trade, Culture, and Culinary Heritage Karachi, Pakistan – The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Karachi proudly inaugurated “Indonesian Week” at Naheed Supermarket on 30 May 2025, marking a vibrant celebration of Indonesian products and cultural outreach in Pakistan.
The three-day event, taking place from 30 May to 1 June 2025, is a significant milestone in enhancing trade, people-to-people ties, and bilateral relations between Indonesia and Pakistan. The event was officially opened by His Excellency Mr. Teguh Wiweko, Consul General of Indonesia in Karachi, who was joined by Mr. Ahmad Syofian, and Mr. Dewanto Priyokusumo- Consul for Economic Affairs, alongside Naheed Supermarket leadership and business dignitaries. In his address, H.E. Teguh Wiweko expressed sincere appreciation to Naheed Supermarket, particularly Mr. Abraruddin, Founder & CEO, Mr. Mansub Abrar, Director, for their unwavering support and hospitality in hosting Indonesian Week.

Mr. Ahmad Syofian, Consul for Economic Affairs, also delivered remarks, highlighting the economic significance of the initiative: “Indonesia is proud to present a selection of its finest products to Pakistani consumers from authentic food items and spices to wellness and lifestyle goods. Events like Indonesian Week open new avenues for bilateral cooperation, especially in the halal industry, agriculture, and FMCG sectors.”
The Indonesian Week at Naheed features a diverse range of Indonesian products, including Sumatran coffee, crispy snacks, natural spices, cosmetics, electronics, and halal-certified consumer goods. Shoppers are invited to enjoy free tastings of Indonesian culinary delights and participate in a lucky draw for exciting prizes with every purchase of Indonesian products during the promotion.
