CM reiterates resolve not to abandon families of terrorism victims – Pakistan Observer

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has reiterated her resolve to never leave the families of those martyred or injured in acts of terrorism alone.

The chief minister paid tribute to civilians, officers and security personnel who were martyred or injured in terrorist attacks. She also saluted the courage of the families of terrorism victims and offered sincere prayers for the rehabilitation of those affected by terrorism.

In her message on the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif said the personnel of the Pakistan Armed Forces, police and other security institutions stood like a solid wall against terrorism.

She said the people of Pakistan had suffered the most from terrorism in the world. “We stand with the victims of terrorism and their families,” she added.

The chief minister said terrorism had no religion, homeland or language. “We have to build a society where peace, love and tolerance prevail,” she said.

CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif stressed the need to defeat the narrative of hatred and keep the flame of peace alive.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned the blast in Mastung, Balochistan, and expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.

The chief minister prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the blast.
