Chaman Chamber condemns burning of Afghan businessman’s trawler near Loralai

CHAMAN: The Chaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) on Monday strongly condemned the burning and attack of the trawler of an Afghan businessman on the Quetta-Loralai highway. The trawler was on its way to the Wahgah border, the traders said.

Chamber of Commerce representatives, Haji Shafiq Kakar, Haji Abdul Bari, Haji Sarwar Olus Yar Khan, Haji Qasim, Haji Attaullah Adam Khan and others while addressing a crowded press conference at Chaman Press Club said that the trawler was attacked in brazen daylight.

Dry fruits worth Rs.10 million were burnt

An Afghan businessman had dry fruit worth more than 10 million rupees worth of dried fruits, which was burnt by throwing petrol bombs on the trawler after firing by unknown terrorists between the levees check posts near Spain Mosque on Loralai highway in Quetta last night.

It is known that some terrorists want to sabotage Pakistan’s trade relations with the neighboring country of Afghanistan. Arrest the culprits punish them severely and announce compensation to the Afghan businessman and trawler owner, the business community demanded.
