Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani on Friday extended his warm felicitations to the leadership, parliament, government, and people of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of their National Day. In an official message, the Chairman Senate emphasised the deep-rooted, historic, and brotherly ties shared between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. He said that the bilateral relationship is built on a solid foundation of mutual respect, shared cultural values, and common perspectives on regional and international issues, said a news release issued here. On the occasion, Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani also wrote a special letter to his Azerbaijani counterpart, Sahiba Gafarova, extending his heartfelt greetings.
