QUETTA: The Balochistan government has asked former provincial ministers, advisers, coordinators, special assistants and parliamentary secretaries to return official vehicles immediately. The Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) issued a letter to all administrative secretaries, the additional chief secretary (home), the additional chief secretary (development), and senior members board of revenue to ensure the recovery of official vehicles from former lawmakers.
This action on behalf of the Balochistan government has come after this Daily reported that over 200 vehicles were still with former lawmakers, special assistants and parliamentary secretaries etc.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan in its previous judgment has ordered that the government can charge Rs.100000 per day if the lawmakers failed to return the vehicle. The S&GAD has also given reference to the apex court’s judgment.
