Badr expo fair to promote Pakistani products globally: Nasir Shah – Pakistan Observer

Sindh Minister for Energy, Development, and Planning Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the upcoming IEEEP Fair 2025, scheduled from September 16 to 18 at the Expo Centre Karachi, will serve as a vital platform to showcase local products to international markets.

The event is being organized by Badr Expo Solutions. Speaking at an introductory ceremony at a local hotel, Nasir Shah noted that such exhibitions help boost national economic stability and open doors for local industries to connect with global buyers.

He was joined at the event by CEO Badr Expo Zohaib Naseer, Engineer Naveed Akram Ansari, Engineer Khalid, Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, the Deputy Consul General of Iran, Turkish Attaché, and several business leaders and industrialists.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to economic growth, Shah said, “The Sindh government fully supports initiatives that promote Pakistani products on global platforms.”

He also emphasized the province’s focus on clean and affordable energy, mentioning that the Nooriabad Wind Power Project currently generates the country’s cheapest electricity. The minister announced that three new solar parks are under development to reduce energy costs and enhance access to renewable power.

He added that the fair will feature a wide range of local and international exhibitors, offering a space to showcase innovation and technology. Shah urged industry stakeholders to participate in the fair, reiterating that such events reflect Pakistan’s industrial potential and commitment to economic progress.
