ATC grants 19 suspects bail in Jinnah House attack case
LAHORE: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday granted bail to 19 individuals implicated in a case related to the assault on Jinnah House on May 9.
The ATC presided over bail petitions filed by 214 suspects named in the case. However, the ATC judge approved bail for 19 accused individuals, including Naveed Feroz, Muhammad Akram, Altaf Hussain, Bilal Fayyaz, and Muhammad Kamran.
Bail was granted upon the submission of surety bonds worth Rs100,000 each. As per police reports, the accused were allegedly involved in the attack and vandalism at Jinnah House on May 9.

The incident occurred amidst widespread violent clashes across Pakistan following the arrest of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan at the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on the same day.
Earlier, on February 14, the ATC had declared 30 individuals, including PTI’s Tahira Yasmeen and others, as fugitives in connection with the Jinnah House attack case.
The police had filed a plea before the ATC, highlighting that despite repeated summons, all accused failed to appear before the court regarding the Jinnah House attack case.
