Pakistani cricketer Ahmad Shahzad refused to play in the T10 League on Thursday through his social media account, as Bol News reported.
In a statement on social media platform X, Ahmad Shahzad said that he wants to play domestic cricket in Pakistan and will keep trying to return to the Pakistan team.
Ahmad Shahzad further said that thanks to PCB for giving me the NOC to play in T-10 and also to the Bangla Tigers for allowing me to play.
The national cricketer said that he felt proud to recognize his performance in the national T20 cup.
Earlir, Basit Ali, a former Test cricketer, spoke out in Ahmad Shahzad’s defence.
The cricketer-turned-analyst claimed on Twitter that Quetta Gladiators made a mistake by not selecting Ahmad as the opening batter for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8.
