Adidas has officially launched the match balls for the upcoming UEFA Champions League and UEFA Women’s Champions League and in a proud moment for Pakistan, both balls are reportedly manufactured locally.
The launch came shortly after the Champions League playoff rounds concluded, setting the stage for the main event in Europe’s top football tournaments.
The men’s ball captures the mystique of the night sky, combining deep blue with gold tones. Hand-drawn zodiac signs in gold add a symbolic layer, representing bravery, fate, and the cosmic journey of elite athletes. Meanwhile, the women’s edition takes inspiration from space and the Northern Lights. Its design features a rich purple base, glowing green gradients, and luminous pink-and-white stars a nod to the energy and brilliance of the women’s game.
While the designs are visually striking, Adidas has also packed these balls with next-level performance features. The surface uses PRISMA technology a debossed texture that helps improve accuracy and ball control. A seamless, heat-bonded structure ensures strength and consistent movement in flight.
At the heart of both balls is the CTR-CORE, a specially engineered internal structure that helps the ball keep its shape and deliver precision under pressure.
In line with growing environmental awareness, Adidas has made these balls the most sustainable in tournament history. They’re made using recycled polyester, bio-based materials, and eco-friendly water-based inks combining performance with responsibility.
The release not only reflects Adidas’s innovation but also highlights Pakistan’s continued excellence in global sports manufacturing, with Sialkot once again contributing to the world’s biggest football stage.
