The 15-member Pakistani squad for the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2023, which is set to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this month, was revealed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday.
Along with his team that will participate in the U19 Asian event, former pacer Sohail Tanvir, who has been chosen as the head of the junior selection committee, finalized the squad.
The team at the Asian event will be led by Saad Baig, who captained them in the home series against Sri Lanka and the away series against Bangladesh.
Group A includes the Green Shirts, India U19, Afghanistan U19, and Nepal U19, the team’s bitter rivals.
The Men in Green will play their remaining games against India and Afghanistan on December 10 and 12, respectively, after starting their campaign against Nepal on December 8.
