Qatari ambassador hosts luncheon in honour of Governor Sindh – Pakistan Observer

The Ambassador of Qatar to Pakistan, Ali Bin Mubarak Al-Khater, hosted a special luncheon in honour of Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, celebrating not only the governor’s return from Hajj but also the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Qatar.

Upon his arrival, Governor Tessori was warmly received by the Qatari ambassador and members of the diplomatic mission. The Qatari envoy and his team congratulated the governor on the successful completion of his Hajj pilgrimage, marking the occasion with heartfelt hospitality.

The gathering drew the presence of ambassadors and diplomats from several Islamic countries, creating a vibrant platform for dialogue, goodwill, and regional camaraderie. In his address during the luncheon, Governor Tessori acknowledged Qatar’s constructive and responsible role amid the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, particularly regarding the Iran-Israel conflict. He praised Doha’s balanced and diplomatic approach to regional challenges, saying, “Qatar’s effective, conciliatory, and responsible diplomacy has earned it respect on the international stage.” Speaking on the broader relationship between Pakistan and Qatar, Governor Tessori highlighted the deep-rooted ties based on mutual trust, respect, and shared Islamic values.

“Pakistan and Qatar are brotherly nations, bound together by faith, friendship, and common aspirations for peace and progress,” he said. The governor also underlined the potential for enhanced cooperation between the two countries in various sectors, including trade, investment, energy, education, and tourism. “The bilateral ties between Pakistan and Qatar are on a steady path of growth.
