New Zealand delivered a commanding all-round performance to secure a 51-run victory over South Africa, booking their place in the ICC Champions Trophy final against India on March 9 in Dubai.

Chasing a challenging 363-run target, South Africa managed 312/9 despite a late onslaught from David Miller, who remained unbeaten on 100 off 67 balls.

The Proteas struggled early, losing Ryan Rickelton (17) in the fifth over. A 105-run stand between Temba Bavuma (57) and Rassie van der Dussen (69) steadied the innings, but New Zealand’s bowlers kept striking at crucial intervals.

Mitchell Santner led the bowling attack with 3/43, while Matt Henry and Glenn Phillips chipped in with two wickets each.

Earlier, New Zealand posted a formidable 362/5, powered by centuries from Rachin Ravindra (108) and Kane Williamson (102).

The duo’s 164-run stand set the foundation, while late cameos from Daryl Mitchell (49) and Glenn Phillips (49) ensured a strong finish.

Lungi Ngidi was the pick of South Africa’s bowlers with 3/72.

New Zealand will now face India in the highly anticipated final in Dubai.
