A video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shows the players practicing in the nets and participating in various fielding drills, including catching practice, to sharpen their skills.
The team enters the series with momentum, having recently secured their first series win in Australia across formats since 2017. The newly-appointed white-ball captain is aiming for a 3-0 clean sweep against Australia in the T20I series.
In a motivational speech on Tuesday, the skipper encouraged his teammates, emphasizing that teamwork could help them not only defeat Australia but potentially whitewash the series. “No one expected us to win against Australia here. We played united, and if we keep that up, we can whitewash them,” said Rizwan.
The first T20I between Pakistan and Australia is set for November 14 at The Gabba, with the second and third matches scheduled for November 16 in Sydney and November 18 in Hobart, respectively.
