LAHORE – The city administration in the Punjab capital has closed entry points for motorway M2, which connects Lahore to Islamabad, from different points as the PTI has called for a protest at D-Chowk in Islamabad.
Reports said authorities has closed entry point as Babu Sabu Interchange, Saggian, Thokar Niaz Baig and Kala Shah Kaku, leaving the people travelling to Islamabad in mental distress.
Furthermore, containers have also been placed at entry point of the Lahore-Sialkot motorway as it also connects to M2.
People, who have planned to go to Islamabad or other northern areas, are advised to wait until the roads are opened for traffic by the officials.

Islamabad Sealed Ahead of PTI Protest
All entry and exit points of the federal capital have been sealed while major roads are blocked in twin cities for traffic as PTI is set to hold a protest at D-Chowk despite warning of action from government.
Keeping in view the situation, schools and other educational institutions have been closed in order to avoid any untoward incident. Association of the private schools in Rawalpindi and Islamabad said the safety of the students is top priority for them. “We cannot take any risks as a political party has announced a protest in Islamabad.”
