KARACHI – The gas supply will be completely suspended on Sunday, June 23, in parts of Karachi for 12 hours due to installation of a new pipeline.
The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) made the announcement on its website. It said, “Hook-up of the newly laid 20″ Dia . x 9 km gas distribution pipeline project from Azeempura to Jam Sadiq Bridge will be carried out at two key points along the way”.
To achieve this task, gas supply will remain suspended from 8 am till 8 pm.
The gas supply will be completely suspended in the following areas on June 23:
Korangi (all sectors including industrial and domestic areas)
Defense Housing Authority
Defence View
Manzoor Colony
Akhtar Colony
Kashmir Colony
Mehmoodabad
Azam Basti
Qayyumabad
DHA Phase 2 Extension
Phase 4
Phases 5 and 5 Extension
Phases 7 and 7 Extension
Phase 8 including Creek Vista
