Fazl refuses to support Zardari
ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has refused to back Asif Ali Zardari in presidential election.
The Maulana told the PPP delegation, which came to him to seek the JUI-F’s support, that he was bound to follow the decision of the party, which has decided not to participate in the presidential election, said sources.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman has also disappointed the People’s Party delegation before this, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has also apologized for voting for Mahmood Khan Achakzai.

“I am bound by the party’s decision, the Maulana told the People’s Party, which requested Maulana Fazlur Rahman to support the presidential election.
The Maulana said that his party has decided that they would not vote for anyone in the presidential election,
Sources said.
“I have also told Mahmood Khan Achakzai that my party has decided that we will not vote for anyone,” Fazl told PPP delegation.
