
- A fearless woman police officer meets the army chief
Rawalpindi: (Web Desk) Syeda Shahr Bano Naqvi, a female police officer who saved a woman’s life by showing courage and bravery in Ichhra Bazaar of Lahore, has met with Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Assistant Superintendent of Police Syeda Shahrabano Naqvi met Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) at General Headquarters Rawalpindi.
The Army Chief appreciated ASP Shahrabano for her selfless dedication and professionalism in handling an uncertain situation during her duty. It should be noted that on February 26, 2024, the fearless officer Shahrabano Naqvi rescued a woman from the angry crowd of Lahore’s Achhra Bazaar.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir said that “Pakistani women are playing an important role in all spheres of life”. Since independence, Pakistani women have distinguished themselves at home and abroad for their ability, perseverance and determination.
The Chief of Army Staff also highlighted that: “Women are an invaluable part of Pakistani society and respect for them is included in our religion as well as our social values”.
The Army Chief also stressed the importance of social harmony and the need for nationwide consensus to prevent intolerance and stressed on the rule of law, saying that “legal avenues for redressal of grievances and grievances are available to the law.” Not to be taken in hand”.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir emphasized that “arbitrary actions based on heresy weaken the outlook of the society”. The Army Chief also highlighted Islam’s eternal message of benevolence and kindness. The Army Chief also appreciated the sacrifices of the law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of the citizens of Pakistan.
