MASTUNG: The central spokesman Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Hafiz Hamdullah was injured in a blast in the Mastung district of Balochistan on Thursday.
Police sources said seven people were also injured in the attack. Police said Hafiz Hamdullah’s vehicle was targeted through a roadside bomb. The PDM spokesman who is also the central leader of Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (JUI) was shifted to hospital for medical treatment.

The JUI leader was going from Mastung to Mangochar when his vehicle was targeted through a bomb near the Choto area of Mastung.
All the injured were rushed to the Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani hospital for medical treatment. An emergency was declared in the hospital to provide medical treatment to injured of the blast.
However, Hafiz Hamdullah was brought to Quetta for medical treatment. Police said the condition of Hafiz Hamdullah was out of danger.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Ali Mardan Domki strongly condemned the blast and directed the administration to arrest the culprits involved in the attack. In a statement issued after the incident, he said the perpetrators of the attack would be brought to justice.
The blast has come a day after the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed a key commander of the outlawed Islami State (IS) in Mastung district of Balochistan.
