Four people were reportedly gunned down on Thursday after armed men opened fire on residents in Sargodha’s Mid Ranjha village.
Among the deceased include two men and two women, while the incident is said to be linked with a previous grudge between the two parties.
The victims have been identified as 30-year-old Faisal, 25-year-old Arafa, 60-year-old Maqsuda and Sarfaraz.
DPO Sargodha Faisal Kamran reported that the accused Ahmed Sher is a close relative of the victims, who had immediately escaped from the crime scene.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation Muhammad Farhan had reached the spot along with a heavy contingent of police.
The bodies have been shifted to the hospital, while Police teams have been dispatched to arrest the accused.
DPO Sargodha Faisal Kamran assured that the accused will be arrested soon.
