Funeral prayer of General (retd) Sawar Khan, former Vice Chief of Army Staff was offered at Army Graveyard Rawalpindi on Wednesday, the military said in a statement.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir attended the funeral.

The statement further said that a large number of civil and military officials including senior retired army officers and relatives of the deceased also attended the funeral.
