TURBAT: At least five people including four labourers and a policeman were martyred in a firing incident in Turbat city.
Police sources said the terrorist incident happened in the Nasarabad area of Turbat. Police said terrorists opened an indiscriminate firing at the labourers in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The assailants escaped unhurt from the spot. Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. Labourers belonged to Dera Ghazi Khan.
Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Ali Mardan Domki strongly condemned the attack and directed the police to arrest the culprits.
In a condemnation statement, Mr. Domki vowed to bring the perpetrators to book. He said the incident was shocking and a brutal act of terrorism.
