SKARDU: The main suspect in the murder of a married couple and their two young children in Skardu has turned out to be the woman’s paternal uncle, police said, as two suspects have been arrested in connection with the case, ARY News reported.
According to police, the main suspect, identified as Rajab, and his accomplice have been arrested, while efforts are underway to trace the remaining suspects.
Police said the suspects involved in the murder of four members of the same family had gone into hiding in Kurram district.
Investigators have also found evidence suggesting that five people were allegedly involved in the killings, police added.
The victims were identified as Muhammad Aslam, his wife Hania Aslam, their four-year-old son Mehdi and two-year-old daughter Zahra. They were found murdered inside their house in Madina Colony, Skardu.
