ISLAMABAD – Gas consumers in several parts of Islamabad will face a temporary suspension on Monday night (October 19) as Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) carries out maintenance and pipeline connection work.
As per official alert, the suspension will affect multiple residential and commercial locations, with gas supply expected to resume early Tuesday morning, October 20.
According to shutdown notices issued by the gas utility on its official social media account, the interruption will begin at different times depending on the affected area. Most locations will face a shutdown starting at 9 PM, while consumers in Blue Area and nearby sectors will experience a suspension from 10 PM.

The affected locations include:
Ghouri Town to Faizabad Service Road on the eastern side
Lehtrar Road, between Khanna Pul and Burma Town
Sohan and Ghouri Town
Gulberg Town and Shakrial
Rehman Garden and Burma Town
Garden Town and surrounding localities
Residents in these neighbourhoods are advised to plan ahead for the overnight disruption.
Blue Area and G-7 Gas Suspension
A separate pipeline disconnection operation will affect Blue Area, Sector G-7 and adjoining locations. Gas supply in these areas will be suspended from 10 PM on Monday and is scheduled to return at 6 AM on Tuesday.
