Zoya Nasir has revealed that the intense slap scene between her character Shehreen and Farhan Saeed’s Anas in the drama Bas Tera Saath Ho was improvised by the actor.
The dramatic moment came during a recent episode after Shehreen fiancé Fahaam was exposed in front of her. Following the confrontation, Shehreen became overwhelmed with emotions and decided to burn her engagement outfit, a decision that nearly resulted in the house catching fire.
As tensions escalated, Anas slapped Shehreen in a dramatic confrontation. The unexpected moment quickly caught viewers’ attention, with many fans reacting to Anas finally confronting Shehreen after a series of tense interactions between the characters.
Following the episode, Zoya Nasir rushed to the social media to share that the slap scene was largely Farhan Saeed’s idea.
“Very much Farhan’s idea and improvisation to his satisfaction,” Nasir said.
Directed by Qasim Ali Mureed, Bas Tera Saath Ho is written by the late Saira Raza, who passed away in June 2025 following a cardiac arrest.
The drama stars Farhan Saeed, Sana Javed, Saba Hameed, Zoya Nasir, Shagufta Ejaz, Faran Tahir and Haris Waheed, among other actors. Bas Tera Saath Ho airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ARY Digital.
