QUETTA — A wave of grief and fear has swept through a local Quetta neighborhood following the tragic discovery of six-year-old Ali Shah, whose body was found inside a sack outside his family home on Thursday morning.
Ali Shah had been missing since August 20. Local police arrived at the scene shortly after the discovery and transferred the child’s body to a nearby hospital for required legal and post-mortem procedures. Authorities have officially launched a homicide investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
The horrifying discovery has sparked widespread outrage and concern among residents, prompting an immediate government response.
Balochistan’s Interior Minister took official notice of the incident, directing relevant law enforcement agencies to submit a comprehensive report without delay. Ordering swift action, the minister instructed police to uncover the motives behind the murder and bring every individual involved to justice immediately.
Police urge anyone with relevant information or suspicious activity reported in the area between August 20 and August 22 to step forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
