New mid-range smartphone offers underwater photography, 144Hz AMOLED display and AI-powered 60X zoom
TECNO has opened pre-bookings for its upcoming CAMON 50 Pro smartphone in Pakistan ahead of its April 5 launch, introducing a feature-rich device aimed at strengthening its position in the mid-range segment.
The CAMON 50 Pro is being marketed with a focus on camera innovation, durability and design, as competition intensifies in the country’s smartphone market.
One of the key highlights of the device is its underwater photography capability, supported by IP68 and IP69K water and dust resistance. The feature allows users to capture images in wet and submerged conditions, offering added versatility in everyday usage.
In addition, the smartphone introduces “SuperZoom FlashSnap”, designed to enhance motion photography by reducing blur and improving image sharpness. This is complemented by an AI-powered 60X SuperZoom feature, enabling users to capture distant subjects with greater clarity.
The device is also equipped with a 144Hz curved AMOLED display, promising a smooth and responsive viewing experience. The curved screen and updated design language are expected to add a premium feel to the handset, while multiple colour options aim to attract style-conscious consumers.
According to the company, the CAMON 50 Pro builds on its existing reputation for offering strong camera performance in the mid-range category, particularly for users seeking advanced photography features without opting for high-end flagship devices.
Pre-bookings for the smartphone are currently open across Pakistan, with early customers eligible for limited-time promotional offers and entry into a lucky draw.
With its official launch scheduled for April 5, the CAMON 50 Pro is expected to compete with other mid-range smartphones by offering a combination of durability, enhanced imaging capabilities and modern design features.
