In a major breakthrough, Sindh Police have successfully uncovered a high-profile burglary in Karachi, recovering over 30 crore rupees (Rs 300 million) and arresting the suspects involved in the daring crime.

“The suspects aimed at ordinary citizens’ savings, but thanks to the coordinated efforts of our police teams, they were apprehended before causing irreparable damage,” he said. The successful operation involved extensive intelligence gathering, street-level surveillance, and coordinated raids, reflecting a shift toward more data-driven and proactive policing strategies in Karachi. IG Odho emphasized that timely arrests and the recovery of stolen assets have significantly strengthened public confidence in law enforcement agencies.

The Inspector General also stressed the importance of expanding intelligence-based operations, conducting frequent street checks, and promoting community policing to maintain law and order across all zones of Karachi.

As part of the recognition for their work, IG Odho awarded commendations and cash rewards to the officers and staff directly involved in the operation.
