Syed Muhammad Qaseem: The funeral prayers of senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) figure and former provincial minister Bismillah Khan Kakar were offered on Tuesday evening at his ancestral village, Killi Habib Zai.
A large gathering comprising political leaders, party workers, tribal elders, and local residents attended the ceremony to bid farewell to the veteran politician. Notable attendees included Pashtoonkhwa National Awami Party chief Khoshal Khan Kakar, Awami Nationa Party Provincial President Asghar Khan Achakzai, provincial ministers Bakht Mohammad Kakar and Ali Madad Jattak, along with several other senior political figures and prominent tribal personalities.
Those present paid heartfelt tributes to the late leader, recalling his long-standing political struggle, commitment to democratic principles, and services to the people of the province. Speakers noted that Bismillah Khan Kakar held an important place in provincial politics and remained devoted to public welfare throughout his career.
After the funeral prayers, he was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard. Condolences were extended to the bereaved family, while prayers were offered for the departed soul’s eternal peace.
